Ginger

Ginger is a tall herbaceous perennial plant with an underground stem formed by a rhizome, mistakenly called a root, which is rich in essential oil.

Native to India and Malaysia, ginger grows perfectly in tropical countries with high temperatures and humidity, but it can also be found in Italy.

For fruits imported from countries other than Italy, the current EU harmonization rules on permitted pesticide residues are applied.
