Lime

Many people believe that lime is identical to lemon and that the word “lime” is simply its English translation, but this is not the case: it is a different citrus fruit with characteristics all its own. The lime belongs, in fact, to the Citrus family, but to the Mediterranean climate it prefers the tropical climate.

Small and slightly oval, the fruits are green sometimes tending to yellow, with very juicy flesh, fragrant and less tart than lemon.
